Preset menu allows you to manage MagicINFO Server more efficiently.

  • The device can be managed to keep the consistent settings.
  • Even if the device's settings have been changed by another user, the settings are initialized to the preset values when you turn the device off and on.

Create the set value of a device in advance to distribute in a group. Click (Device) > Preset Management on the main menu bar.

Adding preset

  1. Under the Preset Management tab, click Add.

  2. When the Add Preset window appears, enter the Name and then select the device group in the Organization.

    Note

    • Be sure to enter or select values for Name and Organization.
    • For the name, you can enter only alphabets, numbers, and special characters.
    • When presets are commonly used, select Common in Organization.

  3. In Description, enter a simple description for the preset. (It is not required.)

  4. Click Setting. Set details of the device.

    • For details on modification of the device information, refer to the following. ▶ Managing device information
    • Under the Customize tab, you can set the User Logo and Default Content. After selecting each item, click icon. Select content on the pop-up window.
  5. After configuration, click Save or Register & Publish.

Click Save to create the presets in the list.

Click Register & Publish to publish the presets to the devices of the group selected in Organization.

Editing preset

  1. Select a desired preset in the list and then click Edit or double-click the preset.
  2. The Preset Editor window appears.

  3. Modify items under tabs for Time, Settings, Display Control, Security, and Customize.

    • For details on modification of the device information, refer to the following. ▶ Managing device information
    • Under the Customize tab, you can set the User Logo and Default Content. After selecting each item, click icon. Select content on the pop-up window.

  4. After modification is made, click Save.

    Click Register & Publish to publish the presets to the devices of the group set in Organization.

Deleting preset

  1. Select the preset(s) in the list and then click Delete.
  2. Click OK on the pop-up window.

The selected preset(s) is deleted.

Publishing preset

  1. Select a preset from the preset list and click Publish.
  2. Select the device to publish the preset settings.
  3. Click Save.

The selected preset(s) is published to the device.

Copying preset

  1. Select the preset(s) from the preset list and then click Copy.
  2. When Save As appears, enter values for name, organization, and description.
  3. Click Save.

The copied items are created in the preset list.
