View and modify the information details on the devices registered in MagicINFO Server.

Click (Device) on the main menu bar.

Viewing device details

  1. Click Device > All. All devices registered on the server appear.
  2. Click of a desired device from the list and click Edit on the device details window.
  3. The device details window appears.
  4. Check the device and its information.

To close the device details window, click Close.

You can see the following items on the device details window.

  • Screen Capture

    Select the checkbox to display a screenshot of the device.

    Note

    • An image will not appear if no screenshot image has been saved.
    • S Player does not support the screenshot viewer function.
    • In the "edit device info" window, use the Settings tab to select a device and set the Screenshot Interval. For details, refer to ▶ Changing device settings

  • Memo

    Add a note to the device.

  • Device Info.

    View the basic information about the device.

    Note

    View the preset application status for the device applied with preset.

  • On Air Content

    View details on currently playing content of the device.

  1. Content Download Status

    View details on downloading the content published by the schedule.

    Note

    Security for Player authentication has been enhanced when downloading http/https content from MagicINFO Server 8.

    The setting for this can be on/off, and the method of change is as follows.

    - Open the MagicINFO Server 8 config.properties configuration file. ( C:\MagicInfo Premium\conf\config.properties)

    - Change to true for the http.fileloader.authorization.enable item.

    - Restart

  • System Usage

    View the system usage. Click Start.

  • Device Health

    View whether the device has any error/warning message or not.

  • Tag

    You can see the tags for a device.

Editing device information

  1. Open the edit device info window. You can enter the edit device info window with two different methods below.

    • Select a device from the device list and click Edit.
    • Click of a desired device from the list and click Edit on the device details window.
  2. View or modify the information for each tab.
  3. Click Save.

Note

Edit Multiple can be used by selecting the same type of devices.
