장치에서 Edge Server 설정하기

MagicINFO Server에 등록된 장치의 콘텐츠를 Edge Server로 다운로드할 수 있도록 설정합니다.

  1. MagicINFO Server의 메인 메뉴 모음에서 장치를 클릭하세요.
  2. 장치 정보 편집 창에서 설정 탭을 클릭하세요.

  3. 엣지 서버 항목에서 엣지 서버를 선택한 후 엣지 서버 Only 항목을 참으로 선택하세요.

    • 엣지 서버 Only를 참으로 설정하면 Edge Server로부터 파일을 받을 수 없어도 MagicINFO Server에게 파일을 요청하지 않습니다.
    • 엣지 서버 Only를 거짓으로 설정하면 MagicINFO Player가 우선 Edge Server에게 파일을 요청합니다. 파일을 받지 못하면 MagicINFO Server에게 요청합니다.
  4. 저장 버튼을 클릭합니다.

스케줄을 이용한 파일 배포하기

등록된 장치에 일정을 생성하여 콘텐츠를 배포할 수 있습니다.

일반 스케줄 생성하기

MagicINFO Server 메인 메뉴 모음에서 스케줄을 클릭하세요.

  1. 스케줄 생성 > 콘텐츠를 클릭하세요.
  2. 스케줄 생성 창이 나타납니다.
  3. 지원 장치에서 스케줄을 배포할 장치를 선택하세요.
  4. 스케줄 유형에서 일반을 선택하세요.
  5. 생성 버튼을 클릭합니다.

일정을 설정해 콘텐츠 추가하기

  1. 일정표의 빈 공간을 클릭하거나 원하는 날짜와 시간만큼 드래그하세요.
  2. 스케줄 생성 창이 나타납니다.
  3. 콘텐츠 항목에서  아이콘을 클릭하세요.
  4. 콘텐츠 선택 창이 나타나면 원하는 콘텐츠를 하나 선택한 다음 선택을 클릭하세요.
  5. 재생 날짜 및 반복, 재생 시간 등의 옵션을 설정하세요.
  6. 저장을 클릭하세요.

스케줄 저장하기

  1. 일정표 상단에 저장을 클릭하세요.
  2. 저장 창이 나타나면 이름, 그룹 장치 등의 옵션을 설정하세요.
  3. 저장 & 배포를 클릭하세요.
  4. 스케줄이 생성됩니다.

사용자 로고 또는 기본 콘텐츠 배포하기

MagicINFO Server 메인 메뉴 모음에서 장치를 클릭하세요.

    FIRMWARE_DOWNLOAD 항목에서 Edge Server 주소를 설정한 프리셋을 MagicINFO Player에 설정하세요.

  • 서비스 탭이 보이지 않는 고객은 기술 지원팀에 문의하세요.
  1. 사용자 조정 > 등록 & 배포를 클릭하세요.
  2. 목록에서 배포할 사용자 로고 또는 기본 콘텐츠의 체크 박스를 클릭한 다음 배포를 클릭하세요.
  3. 사용자 로고 또는 기본 콘텐츠 배포 창이 나타납니다.

  4. 배포 시간 항목에서 지금 배포 또는 스케줄 배포를 선택하세요.

    스케줄 배포를 선택했을 경우 배포할 날짜와 시간을 설정하세요.

  5. 적용할 장치 선택 항목에서 선택을 클릭하세요.
  6. 그룹 선택 창에서 장치 그룹을 선택하고 저장을 클릭하세요.
  7. 배포를 클릭하세요.

배포 현황 보기

Edge Server의 Dash Board 페이지를 열어둔 상태로 MagicINFO Server에 콘텐츠를 배포하면 Edge Server에서 배포된 파일을 확인할 수 있습니다.

  1. Edge Server의 Dash Board 페이지를 열어주세요.
  2. MagicINFO Server에서 사용자 로고 또는 기본 콘텐츠를 배포하세요.
  3. 다시 Edge Server의 Dash Board 페이지를 열면, Downloading 항목에서 배포된 파일을 확인할 수 있습니다.

Configuring Edge Server settings from a device

Configure settings so that content saved on a device, registered on MagicINFO Server, can be downloaded to Edge Server.

  1. On the main menu bar of MagicINFO Server, click Device.
  2. In the device info editor window, click the Setup tab.

  3. Select the Edge Server check box under the Edge Server item, and set Edge Server Only to True.

    • If Edge Server Only is set to True, a file request is not sent to the MagicINFO Server even if it is not possible to receive files from the Edge Server.
    • If Edge Server Only is set to False, the MagicINFO Player first requests a file to the Edge Server. If a file is not received, a file request is sent to the MagicINFO Server.
  4. Click the Save button.

Publishing a file based on a schedule

Create a schedule to publish content to a registered device.

Creating a general schedule

On the main menu bar of MagicINFO Server, click Schedule.

  1. Click New Schedule > Content.
  2. The Create Schedule window appears.
  3. Under Supported Devices, select the device to send a schedule to.
  4. Set Schedule Type to General.
  5. Click the Create button.

The New Schedule screen appears.

Adding content by configuring a schedule

  1. In the schedule calendar, click on an empty space or drag the dates and time period you want.
  2. The Create Schedule window appears.
  3. Click the  icon under the Content item.
  4. On the displayed Select Content window, select a single content item and click Select.
  5. Configure settings for the Playback Date, Repeat, and Playback Time options.
  6. Click Save.

Saving a schedule

  1. At the top of the schedule calendar, click Save.
  2. On the displayed Save window, configure settings for the “name” and “grouped devices” options.
  3. Click Save & Publish.
  4. A schedule is created.

Publishing a user logo or default content

On the main menu bar of MagicINFO Server, click Device.

  • MagicINFO Player versions that support the Preset function can only receive user logos or content published from Edge Server.
  • Software update files, published from Edge Server, can only be received by versions of MagicINFO Player that support the Preset function.

  • On the main menu bar of MagicINFO Server, click Device > Preset Management, select a management item from the list, and then click the Service tab.

    Under the FIRMWARE_DOWNLOAD item, assign the preset in which the Edge Server IP address is specified to MagicINFO Player.

  • If the Service tab is not shown, please contact our Technical Support Team for assistance.
  1. Click Customize > Register & Publish.
  2. Select the check box of the user logo or default content to publish from the list, and then click Publish.
  3. The window where you can publish a user logo or default content appears.

  4. Set Publish time to Publish Now or Schedule Publish.

    If Schedule Publish has been selected, specify the date and time to publish the logo or content.

  5. Click Select from the Select Applicable Device(s) item.
  6. In the Select Group window, select a device group and click Save.
  7. Click Publish.

Viewing publishing status

If you publish content to the MagicINFO Server while keeping the Dash Board page of Edge Server open, the published files can be viewed from the Edge Server.

  1. Open the Dash Board page of Edge Server.
  2. Publish a user logo or default content from the MagicINFO Server.
  3. Open the Dash Board page of Edge Server again. The published file can be found under the Downloading item.

  • To view published files shown in a progress bar from the Dash Board page of Edge Server, make sure you open the Dash Board page of the Edge Server before publishing content to the MagicINFO Server.
  • CSV files can be found in the C:\MagicInfoEdgeServer\runtime\upload\csv\MIRRORING path after content is published, irrespective of the order of publishing.
