Saving general content

Save content created using VXT Canvas. Saved content is automatically added to the content list.
When content creation is complete, click the Save button at the top of the Canvas page.

  • If content published to screens is edited, the changes are instantly applied to those screens.

Saving E-Paper content

Save content, created from a canvas, in E-Paper format.

  1. On the Canvas page, display the content you want to save in E-Paper format, and then click (More) > Save as E-Paper from the top menu above the canvas.

  2. In the displayed pop-up window, enter a content title and then click Save.

  • If the content cannot be saved in E-Paper format, set the playback time to 5 minutes (300 seconds) or longer, and try saving again.

  • The saved E-Paper content can be found on the main page of the Content menu.

Content that cannot be saved in E-Paper format

Content containing static templates, art, menu board widgets, media, texts, patterns, images, and/or events

Content containing audio, video, web (HTML), web (URL), documents, widgets (with the exception of menu board widgets), apps with motion, and/or animation effects

  • Some art may not be saved in E-Paper format, depending on the provider.
