Managing Screens

On the Screen menu page, hover the mouse cursor over a screen thumbnail to display the (More) icon.
Use the features displayed below the icon to manage the screen, without having to access the details page.

Description

Set Content

Publish content to screens.

Energy Management

View power consumption.
This feature may not be supported, depending on the rate plan in use.

Add Tags

Add tags to the screen.

Launch Player App

Restarts the VXT Player if it is turned off on a signage device.

  • This feature does not work when using the Player online.

Clear VXT Player Cache

Initializes and restarts the VXT Player.

Update VXT Player App

Updates the VXT Player to the latest version.

Move to Workspace

Move to a different workspace.

  • After moving to a different workspace, all content, playlists and schedules displayed on the screen are initialized.

  • This menu appears only when two or more workspaces have been added.

Apply Screen Preset

Configure pre-settings for screens such as Signage, Business TV and Hospital TV.

  • This feature may not be supported, depending on the rate plan in use.

Check In

Displays guests’ check-in and check-out status on the screen when using a hotel TV.

  • This feature may not be supported, depending on the screen type.

  • Check In: Switches the room TV to a checked-in state when a guest checks into a room, allowing the guest to use the TV.

  • Chec Out: Deletes the guest's TV usage records and resets the TV to its initial state when a guest checks out of their room.

Deactivate

Deactivates the screen to prevent it from playing content.
Pairing is not canceled even if the screen is deactivated.

Delete

The pairing is disconnected, and the screen is deleted from the server.
