To use MagicINFO Insight, you should install the software and link it to the MagicINFO Server. 

Use the MagicINFO Insight installation package to install the software. To install the MagicINFO Insight on a computer, the database should have been installed on the computer. (PostgreSQL DB version 10 or later)

To install MagicINFO Insight, follow the steps below.

  1. Select the installation language.
  2. Read the user license agreement and select Agree.
  3. Select whether you want to do new installation of the data processing server or use the existing server.
  4. Specify the installation path, IP address, and port for the data processing server.
  5. Select whether you want to do new installation of the Backend server or use the existing server. 

  6. Specify the installation path, IP address, port number, and database details for the Backend server.

    Note

    First make sure the database is already installed. (PostgreSQL DB version 10 or later)

  7. After installation is completed, click Done.

    Note

    You should copy the HW unique key before you link the solution to MagicINFO Server.
