Adding Tags

Before assigning a tag to a device, first add the tag. Click (Setting) on the main menu bar.

  1. Click Tag Management.
  2. Click Add.
  3. The Add Tag window appears.

  4. Enter values for tag name, tag type, tag value, organization, and description.

    Note

    The items that can be entered may vary depending on the selected tag type.

  5. Click Save.

Note

  • Except for the general administrator, users are limited to view their organization tags and common tags for global use.
  • The organization for common tags is marked as Common.
  • To delete a tag, select the tag to delete from the list and then click Delete.

Assigning media tags to devices

Assign a media tag to a device. This allows the device to selectively display information that satisfies conditions of the tag assigned to a DLK element or playlist.

Click (Device) on the main menu bar.

  1. Click Device > All or Group.
  2. Select the devices from the device list to apply the tag. It is possible to select more than one device.
  3. Click Assign Tag > Media Tag.
  4. The Media Tag Settings window appears. The device list appears on the left and the tag list appears on the right.
  5. Click the tag to apply. It is possible to select more than one tag.
  6. Click Apply.

Note

  • To add a new tag, click Add Tag on the Media Tag Settings window.
  • Click to delete a device from the list.
  • The content using the tag assigned to the device can be played. For details, refer to ▶ Creating a playlist

Assigning variable tags to devices

Assign variable tags to devices. This allows you to replace other tag values with content-specific variable tags.

  1. Click Device > All or Group.
  2. Select the devices from the device list to apply the tag. It is possible to select more than one device.
  3. Click Assign Tag > Variable Tag.
  4. The Variable Tag Settings window appears. The device list appears on the left and the tag list appears on the right.
  5. Click the tag to apply. It is possible to select more than one tag.
  6. Click Apply.

Note

  • To add a new tag, click Add Tag on the Variable Tag Settings window.
  • Click to delete a device from the list.

Assigning tags by group

Tags can be assigned to multiple devices specified in groups.

  1. Click Assign Tag > Media Tag or Variable Tag.
  2. When the tag settings window appears, click the folder icon of the device list.
  3. Search and select a group to apply the tag.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click the tag to apply. It is possible to select more than one tag.
  6. Click Apply.
