To enable MagicInfo Remote Content Download Server (RCDS), modify the configuration file of MagicInfo Server and start the service.

Modifying the configuration file of MagicInfo Server

Modify the configuration file of MagicInfo Server.

  • Open %MAGICINFO_PREMIUM_HOME%\conf\config.properties in a text editor.
  • Change amq.broker.use to “true”.
  • If the originally installed MagicInfo RCDS is on another PC, set IP Address of that PC to amq.broker.ip.
  • The amq.broker.port remains set to 61616.

Starting service MagicInfo Premium Edition Server

If the MagicInfo Server service is stopped, start it.

  • Press the window and R key at the same time and the execution window will appear on the screen.
  • Type services.msc in the execution window and press enter to display the service management window.
  • Search for “MagicInfo Premium Edition Server” and start it.
