Add tags to MagicINFO Server and assign these tags to DLK elements, content files in playlists, or devices. Assign variable tags to devices. This allows substituting content-specific variable tags with other tag values.

A content file with a tag plays only on a device that has the same tag.

Click Tag Management.

Viewing Tags

View tags added to MagicINFO Server.

  • All: View all tags added to MagicINFO Server.
  • Group: View tags by user group.

Note

  • Except for the general administrator, users are limited to view their organization tags and common tags for global use.
  • Common tags are marked as Common.

Adding Tags

  1. To add a tag, click Add.
  2. Enter the name, type, value, organization, description of the tag in the add tag window and click Save.

Note

To delete a tag, select the tag from the list and click Delete.
