The DataLink server is a web-based application to send data to MagicINFO Server for periodically collecting external data and playing dynamic content.

Click (Setting) > External Server Management > DataLink Server on the main menu bar.

Adding a DataLink server

1. Click Add from the list of DataLink servers.
2. When the addition window appears, enter data for the DataLink server.
3. Click OK.

You can view the servers added in the list.

The data that can be entered is as follows.

• Server Name

  Enter the DataLink server’s name.

  Note

  The DataLink Server name must be different from names currently in use. Click OK next to the server name to check availability.

• IP

  Enter the IP address of a DataLink server.

• Web Port

  Enter the web port number of the DataLink server.

• Private Mode

  Set whether or not to use the private mode for the DataLink server.

• FTP Port

  Enter the FTP port number of the DataLink server.

• Period

  Set the interval (in second) to update data from the DataLink server.

• SSL

  Set whether or not to enable SSL.

• BYPASS

  Set whether or not to use the bypass option during communication with the DataLink server.

Modifying a DataLink server

1. Click the name of the server to modify in the DataLink server list.
2. When the DataLink server modification window appears, modify items sequentially.
3. After modification, click OK.

Deleting DataLink servers

Select servers from the DataLink server list and then click Delete.
