The general administrator accounts, users with administrator privilege for content, or multi-organization administrators can create shared folders between users of MagicINFO Server.

Only the general administrator accounts, users of administrator with content administrator privileges, or multi-organization administrators can create shared folders.

Creating shared folders

  1. Click (Content) > Shared Content on the main menu bar.
  2. Select shared and then right-click on the mouse.
  3. Click New Folder on the pop-up menu.
  4. Enter a new folder name.

Sharing folders

Multi-organization administrators can share the created folder to their organization groups.

  1. Click Shared Content.
  2. Select a folder to share and then right-click on the mouse.
  3. Click Share on the pop-up menu.
  4. In the Select Organization window, select the organization group. Multiple items can be selected.
  5. Click Save.

Sharing content

Multi-organization administrators and the users for shared folders can share content.

  1. Click My Content.
  2. Select content to share and then click Share. Multiple items can be selected.
  3. In the Select Folder window, select a folder to share.
  4. Click Save.

The shared content can be viewed from the selected folder and used by other organization groups for content creation and such.

Note

Only the content registered to your own account can be shared.

Unsharing content

  1. Click Shared Content.
  2. In the content list, select content to unshare. Multiple items can be selected.
  3. Click Unshare.
