Premium Author supports different types of elements, with properties and uses that vary. Try out the three new elements in the new version.

CEF

Use Chrome browser to load and play a webpage in the content. You will be prompted when adding this element to the design. A browse option for the webpage will show. If there is no webpage to load, do not browser for file and select Cancel instead.

Set the address of the webpage to play.
FILE

Select the webpage file to play. Click the button to open the browse menu. Select the file.

Refresh Interval

Set the frequency at which to refresh the webpage contents. (Unit: minute)

Allow input devices

Set whether to allow mouse and keyboard input when playing the webpage.

Display the scroll barThis setting applies to Chrome scroll bar, but not the scroll bar within the webpage.
Vertical scroll position

Set the vertical position of the scroll bar for the webpage.
Your content will play after vertically scrolling the webpage to the set position. (Unit: pixel)

Horizontal scroll position

Set the horizontal position of the scroll bar for the webpage.
Your content will play after horizontally scrolling the webpage to the set position. (Unit: pixel)

QR code

You can include a QR code in your content to redirect to a webpage when scanned by a mobile device.

Event trigger

Weather

A weather element fetches the weather data from AccuWeather to trigger events based on the weather conditions in the selected area.

CountrySelect a country to display weather forecasts.
City

Select a city of the selected country.

Refresh Interval

Set the interval to refresh weather information in the element.

Note

  • Only one weather element can be created per content.
  • 4 events (WEATHER_SUNNY, WEATHER_RAINY, WEATHER_SNOWY, and WEATHER_CLOUDY) scripts are automatically added when you add a weather element to the design. Read the Author user manual to learn more about events.

Visual effects

Apply confetti, snow, rain, and mist effects on the page.

SizeSet the particle size for the effect.
Speed

Set how fast the particles move.

Quantity

Set the number of particles for the effect.
