Notes Regarding the VXT Player

Playback-supported video formats depend on the product specifications. Refer to the following web page for supported video formats. For the specifications of each product model, refer to the user manual that came with the product.

Up to two videos can be played simultaneously. This only works when the resolution of each video is not higher than FHD at 30fps. To play two videos simultaneously, make sure they have the same frame rate.
The following Samsung screen models support only one video playback at a time. Resolutions that can be played depend on the product specifications.

The following Samsung screen models do not support Office file playback.
- Model Name: BEC-H (e.g., LH85BECHLGUXEN)
Supported Office file formats include DOC, PPT and PDF. Other Office file formats are not supported.
Only MP3 audio files are supported.
Only BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG and GIF images are supported. Use images not exceeding 3840x2160.
When using Sync Play, use images not exceeding 1920x1080.
When playing videos with Sync Play, use H.264, and make sure the videos are encoded using the same codec.
When using Sync Play, note that UHD-resolution products support playback of one video not exceeding 3840x2160 at 60fps, and FHD-resolution products support playback of one video not exceeding 1920x1080 at 60fps.
Sync Play may not work properly if the product models do not match.
Web URLs with CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) are not displayed properly.
Some models support displaying a web URL with CORS, if it is run in full screen mode by using a playlist.

The screen expansion feature for screen walls supports expanded playback of video and image content only.
The following Samsung screen models do not support screen expansion on screen walls.
- QMR, QHR, QER, QPR, QPA, QET, QMT, OHA, OMA, SHR
- SBB-SNOWJAU, SBB-SNOWJMU, SBB-SNOWRAF, SBB-SNOWAAE
- SBB-SS08NL1, SBB-SS08NT2

VXT Player running from a virtual screen

Be sure to use the latest Chrome web browser version, at least 120.
The supported video format for playback is MP4.
For automatic video playback, sounds are not played.
Playback may be interrupted if the network is not stable, as videos are not downloaded before being played.
Only MP3 audio files are supported.
Only BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG and GIF images are supported. Use images not exceeding 3840x2160.
The Sync Play feature is not supported.
ART content plays at a maximum resolution of 950x540.
Advertising content playback is not supported.
Office file playback is not supported.
Playback of external input source is not supported.
Remote device management and remote screen transmission are not supported.
App playback may be restricted.

Launching VXT Player from Android

Be sure to use an Android device version 10 or later.
Make sure the device has hardware with a CPU of at least Octa-core 1.9 GHz and a memory greater than 3GB. If users do use a device that does not meet the hardware requirements, the performance may degrade or some functions may not work.
The supported video format for playback is MP4.
Only MP3 audio files are supported.
Only BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG and GIF images are supported. Use images not larger than 3840x2160.
When using Sync Play, use images not exceeding 1920x1080.
When playing videos with Sync Play, use H.264, and make sure the videos are encoded using the same codec.
When using Sync Play, note that UHD-resolution products support playback of one video not exceeding 3840x2160 at 60fps, and FHD-resolution products support playback of one video not exceeding 1920x1080 at 60fps.
Office file playback is not supported.
Playback of external input source is not supported.
If device owner provisioning, using EMM or other methods, has not been done, some remote management features are limited

(e.g., Reboot, Bluetooth Lock).
Depending on the Android version, some remote management features may be limited;

screen capture, for example, is available on Android 11 and later.
Automatic updates do not work if Google Playstore is not used.
The screen expansion feature for screen walls supports expanded playback of video and image content only.
Sync Play only works between Android devices of the same specifications.
Between devices of different specifications, image or video playback may be delayed or out of sync.
The Embargo feature is not supported.

Launching VXT Player from Windows

Be sure to use a 64-bit Windows device with the Windows OS version 10 or later.
Make sure the device's hardware is Intel 6th generation or higher, with memory of 8 GB or greater. If users do use a device that does not meet the hardware requirements, the performance may degrade or some functions may not work.
The supported video format for playback is MP4.
Only MP3 audio files are supported.
Only BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG and GIF images are supported. Use images not exceeding 3840x2160.
When using Sync Play, use images not exceeding 1920x1080.
