MagicInfo Remote Content Download Server (here RCDS) works properly with MagicInfo Server installed.

Installing MagicInfo Server

If MagicInfo Server is not installed, you need to install it first.

• To apply MagicInfo RCDS you have to install MagicInfo Server 7000.0 or higher.

Setting content home folder as a shared folder

If you install MagicInfo Server and MagicInfo RCDS on another PC, you need to set the content home (contents_home) folder of the PC where MagicInfo Server is installed as a shared folder.

• Set MAGICINFO_PREMIUM_HOME%\runtime\upload\contents_home on the PC where MagicInfo Server is installed as a shared folder.
• During the installation process of MagicInfo RCDS, you have to use the User ID and Password to access the shared folder.
