Multiple tags that were registered and played from the MagicINFO Server are organized in a meaningful unit, assigned to content, and grouped. This group of tags is called an “index.” It is possible to group several indexes to create an upper-level index, which is called a “key index.” To use Insight, first make sure you set an index.

Note

  • To assign a tag to devices and content, first you should add the tag from the MagicINFO Server. For details on how to add or edit tags, refer to the following. ▶Configuring tag settings, Managing tags
  • Make sure Text-type media tags are assigned to the content included in the playlist you create before publishing a schedule. For details on how to assign a tag to content included in a playlist, refer to the following. ▶ Creating a playlist
  • Make sure the tags assigned to the devices to which the playlist will be published match the content tags included in the playlist. For details on how to assign a tag to a device, refer to the following. ▶ Assigning media tags to devices

Setting an index

To use MagicINFO Insight, first set an index. To set an index, follow the steps below.

  1. On the menu bar on the Insight screen, click Settings > Index Management. The tags and indexes registered from the MagicINFO Server are displayed in a list.
  2. Click the Add Index button.

  3. Select the check boxes of the tags you want from the list of tags, and enter an index name in the Index Name field.
  4. Click the Save button.

    Note

    It is possible to include not only individual tags but also another index group in an index. 

    To view information about an index that has been added, first you should set the index as a key index and perform analysis.

Editing an index

Add or edit an index that has been set, if necessary. To edit an index, follow the steps below.

  1. On the menu bar on the Insight screen, click Settings > Index Management. The tags and indexes registered from the MagicINFO Server are displayed in a list.
  2. On the list, click the name of the index to edit.

  3. Edit the index and click the Save button.

Deleting an index

Delete an index that has been set, if necessary. To delete an index, follow the steps below.

  1. On the menu bar on the Insight screen, click Settings > Index Management. The tags and indexes registered from the MagicINFO Server are displayed in a list.
  2. Select the check box of the index to delete from the list and click the Delete button. A confirmation window appears.

  3. Click the Yes button.

    Note

    Note that it is not possible to delete an index that is currently in use.
