V3 버전에서 V4 업그레이드 시 

V3.X에서 V4.X로 마이그레이션을 다룹니다. 이 문서는 아래 그림에 적힌 특정한 시나리오를 다루므로 참고바랍니다.

성공적인 마이그레이션은 모든 설정과 세팅을 보존하고, 플레이어와 디스플레이 패널의 다운시간을 최소화 시킵니다.

아래와 같은 절차를 따릅니다. 

  • 필요한 경우 매직인포 데이터베이스를 업그레이드 (V4.X부터는 postgreSQL 9.5가 권장)
  • 매직인포 WAS 를 업그레이드 

매직인포 데이터베이스 업그레이드

아래와 같은 절차로 진행됩니다. 절차는 v3.X→ v4.X 때와 동일합니다.

  1. 데이터베이스 백업 (postgreSQL 링크 연결예정)
  2. 데이터베이스 업그레이드  (postgreSQL 링크 연결예정)
  3. 데이터베이스 복원 (postgreSQL 링크 연결예정)

매직인포 WAS 업그레이드

  1. 최신 매직인포 서버  패키지를 Samsung Software License Manager 를 통해 다운받습니다. Download Center(http://v3.samsunggsbn.com)
  2. v3 이 설치된 서버가 Samsung Display Solutions 사이트에서 제공하는 시스템 권장사항을 충족시키는지 확인합니다. (https://displaysolutions.samsung.com/docs/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=2064870)Image Removed

  3. 매직인포 설치 패키지를 관리자 권한으로 실행합니다.
  4. v4.1.0.0 버전 이후로는 상태 확인 절차가 추가되어 현재 상태에서 업그레이드를 해도 되는지의 여부를 체크할 수 있습니다.

  5. 에러가 발생하지 않았다면, 다음 스텝으로 넘어가 설치를 진행합니다.

  6. 브라우저 캐시를 삭제합니다. 매직인포가 업그레이드를 마치고 반드시 시행해야합니다.
  7. 모든 설정과 환경이 마이그레이션 후에도 잘 보존되었는지 확인합니다.

  • V8 버전으로의 업데이트는 V7에서만 가능합니다.

  • 브라우저 캐시를 반드시 삭제해주세요.
  • V8 버전의 서버 URL 이 수정되었습니다. V4, V6, V7 에서의 URL로 접근할 수 없으므로 유의해야 합니다.
    • IP:Port/MagicInfo/login.htm?cmd=INIT → IP:Port/MagicInfo/login

Upgrade from V3 to V4 

This topic covers migration from V3.X to V4.X as the scenario shown in the figure below.

This guide follows these steps. 

  • If necessary, upgarde Database. 
  • Upgrade MagicINFO WAS.

MagicINFO Database Upgrade  

If necessary, you can upgrade database. 

  1. Database Backup (postgreSQL 링크 연결예정)

MagicINFO WAS Upgrade

  1. Download MagicINFO Server Install Package from Samsung Software License Manager.  (링크확인)
  2. Check whether the server which is installed V3 meets the system recommendations provided by the Samsung Display Solution site. (링크확인)  
  3. Run the MagicInfo installation package as an administrator. 
  4. Since version v4.1.0.0, a status check procedure has been added, and you can check whether it is okay to upgrade in the current status.

  5. If no error has occurred, proceed to the next step to proceed with the installation.

  6. Clear your browser cache. This step must be implemented after MagicINFO has been upgraded. 
    Make sure all settings and environments are well preserved after migration.
